Council to discuss airport extension:
Robin Hood Airport has published its plans for developments up to 2030, which among other things relate to the need to accommodate increased freight traffic and the airports vision of how it will expand in the next 20 years.
A planning application by the airport is expected that will seek to relax the ban on large more noisy aircraft operating at night in order to capture the freight business the Airport says it requires.
In view of that Misterton Parish Council is to discuss the matter at its January meeting. The airport's plans are available at The Misterton Centre for anyone who wishes to view them.
