Recycle your festive tree

Gainsborough news

VEOLIA Environmental Services are encouraging residents to recycle their real Christmas tree.

The trees can be taken to any of the 14 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) across Notts where they are then chipped to make paths in parks and gardens or shredded for composting.

Until 31st January, Veolia will donate £100 for every 50 tonnes of Christmas trees and garden waste received to The Nottingham Hospitals Charity, the chosen charity of the chair of Notts County Council.

To find your nearest HWRC and for opening times visit www.veolia.co.uk/nottinghamshire or call us on 0115 850 5900.
