Frederick Walter Ward : Obituary
MR. F. W. WARD (of Langold) FAMILY and friends gathered together at the funeral of Frederick Walter Ward, of Chestnut Road, who passed away after a sudden illness at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, aged 81. Mr Ward was the loving husband of Florence and devoted father to Paul, Carol and Andrew. Born in Shirebrook, where he was also schooled, he was an underground fitter at Shireoaks Colliery prior to his retirement. The funeral service, held at Rose Hill Crematorium, Doncaster took place on 1st February 2012 and was conducted by minister Tom Haver.
